Privacy Policy – Recipe Card & Grocery List
Publisher: Lamonz International Productions, LLC d/b/a LZ Group · Effective date: October 27, 2026 · Updated: November 1, 2026
Short version: your recipes stay in your browser. The extension reads recipe content from the page you click it on and processes it only on your device. The extension doesn't collect, sell, or share personal data, and there are no ads or analytics. Separately, if you join the Recipe Card waitlist on our website, we keep your email address to tell you when Recipe Card launches (see "Waitlist (website)" below).
What the extension reads
- Only when you click the toolbar button, it reads the recipe data the site itself publishes for search engines (schema.org "Recipe" JSON-LD) on that one tab. It does not read anything else on the page, does not run in the background, and does not see your browsing history.
What is stored, and where
- When you save a recipe, its text, photo link and the link to the recipe page are stored in your Recipe box. Saved recipes, your unit setting, your plan (Free/Pro) and your license key are stored locally with
chrome.storage.local on your device. They are not sent to us.
- Uninstalling the extension deletes this data. You can also delete any saved recipe from the Recipe box at any time.
Network requests
- The extension makes no network requests of its own. There is no license server: your Pro key carries a digital signature that the extension checks on your device. No recipes, URLs, keys or browsing data are sent to us.
- Recipe images: the card shows the recipe's photo, which your browser loads directly from the recipe's own website, the same as when you visit it.
Payments
- Pro is a one-time $7.99 purchase sold through Link. Under Stripe Managed Payments, customers see Link as the merchant of record, and Stripe and Link handle the payment, receipts, payment questions and refund requests (how Managed Payments works). We never see or store your card number. Stripe's privacy policy covers the checkout: https://stripe.com/privacy.
- After you pay, Stripe notifies our key delivery service so it can create your license key. That service stores only the checkout session ID, the license key issued for it and the key's license ID, so your confirmation page can show the key again. It doesn't store your name, email address or other buyer details.
Children
- The extension is not directed to children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone through the extension itself.
Waitlist (website)
- What we collect: if you join the waitlist on this website, we store your email address, the date and time you joined, which page you joined from, and whether you ticked the optional product-updates box (it is unticked unless you tick it). We don't store your IP address or browser details, and the site sets no cookies.
- Why: to email you once when Recipe Card is available. If you ticked the optional box, we may also send occasional Recipe Card product updates. We never sell or share your email address, and we don't use it for ads.
- Where: waitlist entries are stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare (Workers KV), on our account (Cloudflare's privacy policy).
- How long: we delete waitlist emails within 30 days after the launch email is sent, unless you ticked the product-updates box; those are kept until you unsubscribe.
- Unsubscribe or delete: every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe. To be removed or to have your email deleted at any time, email support+recipe@lzgroupllc.com from that address; we'll confirm once it's deleted.
- The waitlist is not directed to children under 13.
